Hundreds of supporters from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and other minority parties embarked on a large-scale demonstration on Monday morning, protesting the suspension of the Chief Justice by President John Dramani Mahama.
The demonstration commenced on the premises of the Supreme Court, where leaders submitted a petition to the judiciary.

Clad in red clothing, armbands, and headgear, the demonstrators took to the streets in large numbers, marching through the main streets of Accra.
From the Supreme Court, they proceeded to Parliament to present a second petition before continuing their march to the Jubilee House to deliver their final petition.
