The Executive Secretary of the Airport City Association (ACA), Kweku Senanu Adzraku, has encouraged small businesses to take advantage of opportunities within the Airport City enclave to expand their operations.
He dispelled rumours suggesting that the enclave is only accessible to high-income or big-budget businesses, stressing that it offers various entry points suitable for enterprises of all sizes.
Speaking to Joy Business after a networking event at the Palms by Eagles, Airport City, Mr. Adzraku revealed that the area offers a wide range of opportunities for businesses to thrive.
“The lowest rent per square meter is about $17 or $18, and in fact, some properties are priced in cedis. The last time I checked, some spaces were going for around 200 to 300 cedis per square meter,” he said.
He emphasised that contrary to the perception that Airport City is reserved for the wealthy, the enclave serves a diverse clientele, including individuals and businesses with varying needs and budgets.
He encouraged businesses to consider relocating to Airport City, where they can rent affordable spaces tailored to their operations.
“It’s not true that it’s only for the rich. We have all kinds of buildings here, high-grade, middle-grade, and even older buildings. So you have options. It’s all negotiable. If I say a square meter costs 20 cedis and you only have 15, we can talk. We’re all human beings,” he explained.
Mr. Adzraku assured that the ACA is committed to supporting businesses with guidance and resources to help them operate effectively within the enclave.
During the event, the Association also showcased its new online platform to members and businesses operating within Airport City.
