A devastating fire has ravaged the Lucky Herbal Centre branch at Kasoa in the Central Region.
The inferno gutted the facility around 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a gas cylinder explosion in a room where some occupants were reportedly cooking.
Eyewitnesses told Adom News that they saw smoke emanating from one of the rooms on the first floor of the storey building, which quickly spread to offices, including staff accommodation and the TV newsroom.
However, the prompt response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), NADMO, and the Police helped to minimise the damage.
The Municipal Fire Commander, ADO II Marcell Kwame Avadu, speaking to the media, advised the general public on fire safety.
Meanwhile, Awutu Senya East Municipal NADMO Director, Nash Nyamdey, commended the Fire Service for their timely intervention and commiserated with the staff of the facility over their losses.
