All roads lead to the ICGC Christ Temple East in Teshie today as thousands from across Ghana and around the world converge for Greater Works 2025, the annual spiritual convocation hosted by the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), under the visionary leadership of Dr. Mensa Otabil.
Running from Monday, August 4 to Friday, August 8, this five-day conference has become one of the most anticipated and spiritually impactful events on the Christian calendar in Ghana and beyond.
With morning sessions beginning at 9:00 AM and evening sessions at 5:00 PM, participants are being invited to encounter God afresh through teaching, worship, prophecy, and impartation.
A Vision That Became a Global Movement: The Host’s Heart
At the heart of Greater Works is the consistent, kingdom-minded leadership of Dr. Mensa Otabil, theologian, leadership coach, and General Overseer of ICGC.
In an exclusive interview, Dr. Otabil shared the story behind the genesis of Greater Works.
He said, “Greater Works started incidentally. We used to have a month of prayer and fasting we called Spiritual Emphasis Month. We would end it with one meeting, but over time, we noticed those final meetings were carrying such power and momentum, we decided to extend them. Eventually, that extension became what is now known as Greater Works.”
According to Dr. Otabil, in a time when the world is seeking meaning and direction, “people are hungry for spiritual depth and not shallow hype but real answers.”

SPEAKERS
Every edition of Greater Works has brought together some of the most seasoned teachers and prophetic voices of our time. This year’s speaker line-up raises the bar once again, blending wisdom, experience, and the Spirit’s leading.
Bishop Tudor Bismark (Zimbabwe)
An apostolic teacher known for his profound insights on leadership, kingdom economics, and spiritual transformation. He’s a long-time friend of the house and a voice trusted across the globe.
Bishop Mike Okonkwo (Nigeria)
A veteran pastor and one of Nigeria’s most respected Bible expositors. His heart for building believers in the Word makes his sessions a highlight every year.
Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo (UK/Nigeria)
A bridge between continents and generations, Pastor Ashimolowo brings a blend of prophetic insight and practical wisdom for life and business in the kingdom.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin (Nigeria) — First Time at Greater Works
Perhaps the most anticipated addition to the 2025 edition, Pastor Paul Adefarasin will mount the Greater Works platform for the first time. Known for his eloquence, vision, and apostolic call, he is expected to deliver a prophetic word in season.
Music Ministers
No Greater Works conference is complete without its world-class worship experience. Music has always played a central role in preparing the hearts of attendees for the Word and creating space for deep spiritual encounters. This year’s lineup is nothing short of heavenly:
Nathaniel Bassey – The trumpet-bearing psalmist returns with songs that stir revival.
Dunsin Oyekan – Revered as “The Eagle,” he is known for raw, prophetic worship encounters.
Joe Mettle – Ghana’s own gospel icon, who carries the anointing of both artistry and authenticity.
Edwin Dadson – A worship leader rooted in Ghanaian expression and spiritual passion.
These ministers will be supported by the Christ Temple East Choirs and orchestras, ensuring each session is rich with spontaneous praise and intimate worship.

Structured for Impact: Morning and Evening Encounters
The conference maintains a dual-format structure to serve the diverse needs of attendees:
Morning sessions (9:00 AM) offer biblical depth, leadership teaching, and strategic thinking — ideal for entrepreneurs, professionals, and those seeking foundational understanding.
Evening sessions (5:00 PM) are designed for prophetic ministry, powerful worship, and Holy Spirit-led impartation.
The goal is to nourish both the mind and the spirit, equipping attendees to return to their families, careers, and communities with renewed power and perspective.
Easy Access: Free Transportation Provided
To make this year’s event even more accessible, ICGC has made bus arrangements available from designated pick-up points across Accra and surrounding areas.
This free transportation initiative ensures that anyone who desires to attend Greater Works can do so without transportation being a barrier. Full details of pick-up times and locations are available via the ICGC social media pages and local assemblies.
Why Greater Works 2025 Is Unmissable
Every year, Greater Works serves as a spiritual reset, and this year’s edition is particularly significant. Following the just-ended 40 Days of Power, a month of fasting and prayer observed by ICGC and partner churches, Greater Works provides the culmination, clarity, and commissioning that many seek.
“Faith is not automatic; even tiny actions lead to something big,” Dr. Otabil said, challenging believers to act boldly on what they’ve received during 40 Days of Power.
Whether you are a young believer seeking direction, a pastor needing strength, or a professional looking for alignment between purpose and work, Greater Works 2025 is designed to speak to your season.
