Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Ofori impressed in his first game of the 2025/26 Portuguese season with an assist against Alverca.
Ofori, who was involved in just two goals all of last season, equalled his assist tally from the 2024/25 campaign as he set up Moreirense's opening goal against the newly-promoted side.
27 minutes into the new season, the midfielder provided a helping hand for Guilherme Schettine to give Moreirense the lead against Alverca at home.
The away side levelled the score on the stroke of halftime from the penalty spot.
The Ghanaian midfielder was taken off in the 73rd minute of the game in his first outing of the season.
Just when the game seemed to be heading for a draw, Yan Maranhao scored from a Dinis Pinto assist to snatch a late win for Moreirense and hand them all three points.
