HerPress, a network of women journalists in Ghana, will conclude its maiden fellowship with a summit designed to amplify women’s voices in the media.
The summit, funded by the Australian government, is scheduled for Saturday, 23rd August 2025, at the Mix Design Hub in Accra. It will feature discussions on key issues affecting women in journalism and other engaging conversations aimed at driving meaningful change.

Through the fellowship, 20 women journalists received hands-on training in leadership, investigative reporting, and impactful storytelling. Organizers at the Dikan Center say they hope to expand the program in the future to benefit even more women.
HerPress is not just a fellowship but a movement—bringing women journalists together to strengthen their voices, enhance their impact, and inspire transformation in Ghana’s media landscape.
