President John Dramani Mahama will grace the opening day of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League on Friday, September 12.
The season will kick off at the Accra Sports Stadium, where Hearts of Oak take on newly promoted Hohoe United. Fans will also be treated to a special performance from dancehall star Stonebwoy to mark the occasion.
The action continues on Saturday, with defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars set to face Bechem United, while MTN FA Cup winners Asante Kotoko travel to http://junoon.riphahfsd.edu.pk/ Berekum Chelsea in one of the weekend’s standout fixtures.
Sunday promises even more action across the country. Hearts of Lions will welcome Dreams FC to the Kpando Sports Stadium, Basake Holy Stars host fellow newcomers Eleven Wonders, while Vision FC meet Samartex. Elsewhere, Young Apostles take on Medeama, Karela square off with Aduana, and Nations FC battle newly promoted Swedru All Blacks. All Sunday matches are scheduled for 3:00 pm local time.
