As thousands of final-year Senior High School students prepare to step into life beyond the classroom, the Church of Pentecost, in partnership with Scripture Union Ghana and the Ghana Education Service, has launched the second edition of the National All Leavers’ Summit in Accra.
The summit seeks to provide mentorship, career guidance and spiritual direction for young people transitioning from school into adulthood.
Chairman of the National Schools Outreach Ministry, Apostle Prof Joseph Buertey, outlined the vision behind the initiative.

He explained that many SHS graduates often turn to activities such as parties, beach outings and other ventures that do not glorify God, sometimes leading to unfortunate outcomes.
“Through this summit, we want to shift that mindset and draw their attention to God,” he said. “It is about redirecting their focus, thanking God, praising Him, praying for their future and being empowered for a bright tomorrow.”

This year’s summit, themed “Focusing, Guiding and Nurturing the Next Generation Today”, is scheduled to take place on 20 September 2025 across designated centres nationwide.
Apostle Buertey urged all final-year students to participate, describing the event as a unique opportunity to step confidently into the next chapter of their lives with faith, vision and purpose.
