IPMC has been crowned Technology Group of the Year at the 2025 Ghana Business Awards in recognition of its pioneering role in driving digital transformation across Ghana and West Africa.
The company’s Executive Chairman, Amar Deep Singh Hari, was also honoured with the prestigious title of Entrepreneur of the Decade for his visionary leadership and long-standing contribution to the technology sector.
For more than three decades, IPMC has been at the forefront of Ghana’s IT evolution. The company’s expertise in data centre technologies has powered the modernisation of financial institutions, telecom networks, and public utilities.
Whether withdrawing money from an ATM, transferring mobile funds, or paying ECG and water bills, many of these transactions are processed through data centres built and managed by IPMC.

Beyond infrastructure, IPMC’s cybersecurity and managed IT services keep critical systems running around the clock, safeguarding millions of digital interactions daily.
The company’s footprint extends into retail and manufacturing as well, where its enterprise resource planning (ERP) and back-office automation systems support the operations of some of Ghana’s largest brands and stores.
Over the years, IPMC has also made significant contributions to human capital development. Its training arm, now a university college, provides undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in information technology and business.
In addition, hundreds of thousands of students across the region have benefited from its practical, skills-oriented professional courses.
These have helped to bridge Ghana’s digital skills gap and cultivate a new generation of IT professionals.

Speaking after receiving the awards, Amardeep Singh Hari expressed gratitude to IPMC’s partners, clients, and employees for their unwavering commitment and support, which have spurred the company to excellence.
“This honour reflects our journey as a company and Ghana’s progress as a digital nation,” he said.
“We remain committed to enabling innovation, supporting enterprises, and empowering young people with the skills to thrive in the digital economy.”
The Ghana Business Awards, held annually, celebrate outstanding achievements in business leadership, innovation, and corporate responsibility across various sectors of the economy.
