Victory Bible Church International (VBCI) has partnered with the Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly (ANMA) to rehabilitate the Awoshie Baah Yard Road — a stretch that has long been in disrepair, causing significant inconvenience to motorists and residents.

In a statement confirming the collaboration, ANMA described the initiative as a major public-private partnership aimed at addressing years of neglect and improving accessibility within the municipality.

“The Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly is proud to announce a powerful collaboration with Victory Bible Church International to undertake the much-needed rehabilitation of the Awoshie Baah Yard Road, around the traffic light,” the Assembly stated.

The project will include asphalt overlays, drainage improvements, and the installation of road markings to reduce dust, flooding, and congestion that have long plagued commuters.

ANMA also commended the church for its strong demonstration of corporate social responsibility and commitment to community development.

“We extend our profound gratitude to the leadership and congregation of Victory Bible Church for their exemplary partnership in this transformative initiative. Together, we are not just fixing a road; we are paving the way for safer, smoother, and more prosperous journeys for all,” the statement added.

Established on 2 June 1985 at Kokomlemle in Accra, Victory Bible Church International has grown into a global Charismatic ministry with a presence in over ten countries across Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Europe.

The church operates more than 175 branches in Ghana and employs over 70 permanent staff and hundreds of lay ministers.

Under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Nii Nabi Nii Apiakai Tackie-Yarboi, VBCI marked its 40th anniversary this year with a series of celebratory events, including conferences, evangelism outreaches, concerts, and youth-centred programmes aimed at nurturing leadership and moral development among young people.

Rooted in biblical teachings, the church’s mission is to equip believers to become disciples of Christ, fostering spiritual growth, community service, and nation-building.
