The Ashanti Region and Greater Accra Region have completed the pack for the semifinal stage of the maiden edition of the MTN Elite U-19 Championship.
The two teams join the Eastern Region and the Brong Ahafo Region, who also booked their place in the last four of the competition.
The team from Eastern Region began their campaign in the competition with a thumping 5-2 win over Upper West Region before beating the Western Regional team in their second game.
They also grabbed a 1-0 win over the Brong Ahafo Region last weekend to maintain their lead at the top of Group A before wrapping up with a loss to Northern Region in their final group game.
Brong Ahafo, on the other hand, picked up wins over Northern Region, Upper East and Western Regions to also advance into the next round from Group A.

In Group B, the Ashanti Region finished top with 10 points after claiming victory over the Greater Accra Region in their final group game. They also won their first and second games before losing on penalties to the Central Region in their third game.
Greater Accra Region beat Upper East 4-0 in their group opener while also winning their second game of the championship. They recorded a 4-0 win as well over the Volta Region in their third game before losing to Ashanti Region in their final group game to finish second.
In the semifinal stage, Greater Accra Region, who finished as runners-up in Group B, will face Group A winners, Eastern Region, while Group B winners, Ashanti Region, play Brong Ahafo Region.
The two semifinal games are slated for Friday, October 31, at 14:00 and 16:00 GMT, respectively.
