The Managing Director of Kinapharma Group, Dr Kofi Nsiah-Poku, has been elected as the new President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI). He takes over from Dr Humphrey Ayim-Darke.
Dr Nsiah-Poku was elected after a fierce competition, beating the CEO of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Raphael Ayitey, and others.
Dr Nsiah-Poku is a seasoned Consultant Pharmacist with expertise in pharmaceutical production and food processing.
Dr Nsiah-Poku received his “O” and “A” level education at Opoku Ware School, where he served as Assistant School Prefect.
Other executives elected included Mr. Mukesh Thakwani as Vice President for Large-Scale Industries, Mr. Dela Gadzanku as Vice President for SMEs, Mrs. Maureen Odoi as National Treasurer, and Executive Members Mr. Emmanuel Gyimah and Mrs Joyce Ababio.
