Accra is set to host a major cross-border fashion pop-up from December 20 to 28, as Untamed Empire collaborates with Lagos-based Idozi Collective to showcase the best of West African creativity.
Theme: A Celebration of Homegrown Talent: Lagos Meets Accra, the pop-up will feature an art exhibition curated by Untamed Empire’s Creative Community, reflecting on the milestones of 2025 while charting a path for the year ahead.
The event aims to unite 20 of the most exciting emerging designers from Ghana and Nigeria under one roof, transforming the concept store into a vibrant hub of creativity, style, and innovation.
This is more than retail; it is a story about strengthening creative exchange and commercial trade between West Africa’s two fashion powerhouses.
The pop-up will feature ready-to-wear, artisanal, and contemporary designs from the curated designers and will coincide with Accra’s festive season activities, including Detty Rave and Bloom Bar events.
Event highlights include:
- Day 1: Designer Reception and Influencer Preview
- Days 2–5: Themed Retail Days and Styling Consultations
- Day 6: Christmas "Designer Lounge" Gala
- Day 7: Afternoon Social Activation with Idozi Booth and Live Styling Demonstration
- Day 8: Concluding Sale and Networking Dinner
Organisers emphasise that the event offers something for everyone, from fashion retailers and art enthusiasts seeking innovative designs to fashion-forward attendees and socialites looking to experience Accra’s bustling creative scene.
The pop-up promises not only a shopping experience but also an opportunity to forge new connections, celebrate African talent, and witness the future of fashion in the region.
Attendees are invited to shop, connect, and party at Untamed Empire from December 20 to 28.
