JoyNews’ Parliamentary and Legal Affairs correspondent, Kwaku Asante, has been honoured as the Best Radio and TV Journalist in Parliamentary Reporting (English) at the ongoing Parliament’s Media Soirée and Recognition Night, held on Saturday, December 20.
The award recognises Kwaku Asante’s outstanding contributions to parliamentary journalism, marked by consistent, accurate, and impactful reporting that has helped bring the work of Ghana’s Parliament closer to the public.

The citation commended him for being “awarded for exceptional prowess in radio and television journalism, delivering compelling stories with clarity, courage, and credibility that resonate across Ghana and amplify the voice of the nation through parliamentary reporting.”
