Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy has revealed that he owns a rice company in Ghana, expanding his business interests beyond his successful music career.
The multiple award-winning artiste co-owns a rice brand called Lilo Rice, which produces and distributes packaged Ghanaian rice.
“Of course, I sell rice,” Stonebwoy said in an interview with American-based media personality Shirley Ju.
“A lot of people don’t know but that’s one of the things that I do. Packaged Ghana rice and distributed,” he added.
The name Lilo is derived from the first two letters of Livingstone, Stonebwoy’s given name, and Louisa, his wife.
Although the company has existed for some time and has been used in a number of Stonebwoy’s social responsibility projects, the musician has not made much public noise about the venture.
Despite his achievements in music, Stonebwoy continues to show interest in spreading his tentacles into other fields, including agribusiness.
Apart from these, Stonebwoy has the Livingstone Foundation which takes care of the underprivileged in society.
