Ghanaian youngster Raymond Asante starred on his first appearance for Patro Eisden Maasmechelen in the Belgian Challenger Pro League.
Asante scored in a thrilling 4-4 draw against Jong Genk U23 over the weekend days after sealing a loan move to the club.
Having signed from Sporting Charleroi, the forward was handed a starting role on Friday, even as Patro hosted Jong Genk in the Belgian second tier.
It didn't take long for the Ghanaian to make a mark as he scored after just six minutes to open his scoring account for his new club.
This was after Leandro Rousseau had opened the scoring for the hosts in the first minute of the encounter.
Despite taking a two-goal lead in the opening six minutes, Patro were unable to hold onto their advantage as they settled for a 4-4 draw.
The result leaves the club in fifth position after 23 games as they chase a promotion spot.
For Asante, a goal on his debut was the perfect start to life in a new environment, and he will be looking to build on it.
