President John Dramani Mahama has emphasised the strong ties between Ghana and South Korea, highlighting their shared values and historical connections.
Speaking during bilateral discussions with the South Korean President, Lee Jae Myung, Mahama said, “We are proud of the shared values that we have, the same historical background, our respect for democracy and our respect for human rights.”
The talks focused on deepening cooperation in areas including trade, investment, and technological collaboration, reinforcing the longstanding diplomatic relationship between the two nations.
During the talks, President Lee expressed optimism that President John Dramani Mahama’s visit to his country would produce concrete outcomes benefiting both Ghana and South Korea.
