The National Steering Committee of the New Patriotic Party has extended the deadline for the submission of application forms to the constituency centres for all affected regions and constituencies.
A statement signed and issued by the General Secretary of the party, Nana Ohene Ntow said the date had been extended to Tuesday, April 17, 2007.
The statement added that this followed numerous requests for the extension of the deadline for the submission of parliamentary primaries nomination forms for constituencies without sitting NPP MPs.
The statement urged all regional and constituency offices to ensure that the exercise was smoothly carried out and assured aspirants that the dates for the vetting as well as dates for holding the primaries would be announced later.
