George Agbinku had earlier threatened to kill his younger brother Philemon Agbinku on the eve of Good Friday after the pair had a quarrel.
It is not clear yet what the quarrel was about but the suspect is believed to have carried out the threat by splitting Philemon’s head open at dawn in a room they both share.
The Ho Municipal Police Commander, Superintendent Cashman Blewusi who confirmed the incident to Joy News said the deceased was confirmed dead upon arrival at the hospital.
George has not admitted killing his brother but Superintendent Blewusi says he has been held in police custody and will be arraigned before court on Tuesday April 7, 2015.
