Herbert Addo is an unhappy man.
The Hearts of Oak boss does not like the media's constant harping on the negatives bugging his team at the moment.
The club is struggling in the league but is basking in the glow of advancement to the next stage of qualifying in the Caf Confederations Cup.
But speaking after his latest triumph - a thorough demolition of Bolga Manchester City in the FA Cup - the coach was baffled by what he feels is the fixation on the niggling problems affecting the Phobians.
"I don’t have any messages for the fans," he began, when asked if he had any parting shots for supporters.
"I have a message for you people, you the media. You are the ones inciting the supporters."
His comments come in the wake of intense media scrutiny of his methods, transfer policy and atypically leaky defense.
This latest win in the Round of 32 game played at the Accra Sports Stadium takes the Phobians a step closer to a first trophy in six years.
"If we are where we are in the league and so what? Some have started well but we are coming so let’s wait and see what happens at the end of the league. We are slow starters and we will get there."
In recent weeks, Addo has cut a warring figure with the press who have been quite merciless in their assessment of Hearts stuttering league campaign, which sees them in 14th.
