Chelsea were hit by an injury blow ahead of their Premier League game against QPR when Loic Remy failed to make the team.
Remy scored the winning goals in Chelsea’s previous two games against Hull City and Stoke City but was missing due to injury.
With Diego Costa also nursing a hamstring injury, Didier Drogba started up front for Chelsea, who were looking to open up a seven-point lead, with a game in hand, on second-placed Arsenal.
