Organizers of the Stephen Appiah testimonial match, Primeval Media have confirmed June 27 as the date to honour the former Black Stars captain.
This announcement was made during the launch of the testimonial match which took place on Monday evening at the Conference Centre.
The launch which was well attended by all who matter in the terms of Ghana football was to formally set the tone for preparations for the June 27 match at the Accra Sports Stadium, which promises to be grand following the popularity of the ex-Black Stars captain.
Prior to the testimonial match day, a grand dinner will be held at the Banquet Hall of the State House on the 26th of June.
