Season 16 of the Joy Invitational Tournament Saturday generated extraordinary excitement as Chief Executives and business owners jostled for glory.
Businesses in various sectors of the economy competed for trophies in field and track events, football, penalty shootouts for ladies and men, volleyball, ludo, oware, amongst others.
This season recorded not only impressive attendance but also competitive participation amongst the companies that participated in the games.
Team Joy, noted for talking more and delivering little at the games, this time lifted the football trophy after beating Tema-based freight forwarders, Sapholder Ventures through a pulsating penalty shootout.
The noisy team had to beat Tigo and Union Savings and Loans to reach the finals where it overcame Sapholda Ventures.
But the freight forwarders did not go home empty-handed; they won the volleyball competition and the relay race.
