Technology giant, Samsung has launched its latest flagship devices, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in Ghana.
The two variants of the Galaxy S6, the successor of the hugely successful Galaxy 5, come with unique features including improved design.
The S6 Edge's screen in particular, comes with a slight curvature, a clear indication of Samsung’s leadership in innovative technology.
Both devices are packed with and exciting features including Samsung Pay which uses near-field communications (NFC) for transactions and payments.
Samsung says it has gone beyond NFC to also include a technology that will allow it to be used with any register that can accept a credit card.
Both devices come equipped with wireless charging capabilities. According to Samsung, both devices can be charged with any wireless charging pad currently available. Also with 10% charging, the device can work for four hours.
Speaking at the launch last Friday at the Samsung Experience Shop at the Stanbic Heights, Tracy Kyei, Marketing Manager (IT & Mobile) at Samsung Ghana noted that the new devices are superior to any mobile device on the market today.
According to her, the critical external design of both devices, “when that is matched with powerful performance you get something that is very unique and that is exactly what makes the galaxy S6 and S6 edge unique.”
She noted that Samsung has packed both devices with juicy freebies through their Galaxy Gift App.
