Kotoko were on course to get three points on Sunday against Edubiase if it wasn't for some dodgy officiating from the center referee.
That's according to David Duncan.
"William Agbovi, to a very large extent, gifted Edubiase their equaliser" because he failed to give Kotoko a foul in the lead up to the goal.
Duncan insists his left-back "was being pulled all over the place" and dispossessed before Edubiase's Haminu Dramani's stunning strike. That aside, the coach was quick to praise his opposition.
"Edubiase played very well. Coming up against Kotoko, we should not expect that a team will underperform. Any team coming up against Kotoko plays above themselves and Edubiase were not different so 2-2 it ended," said Duncan.
"We didn’t get off the blocks on a bright note. We were a bit jaded getting off the blocks. The coordination between the backline was not as efficient as we would have liked it to be," Duncan said
The Reds will host Heart of Lions on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
