Businessman and C.E.O. of Kenpong Group of Companies, Kennedy Agyapong has congratulated the Black Meteors for their 7 – 1 aggregate victory over Liberia last Saturday.
In a message to the Black Meteors, the former Asante Kotoko Director said even though it is the first step taken towards the CAF 2015 Under -23 Championship, the Meteors had acquitted themselves brilliantly and have given Ghana hope.
"In 2011 we went out in our first qualifying game and could not qualify for the London 2012 Olympics qualifiers, but you this time exorcised the ghost and displayed brilliance to trounce Liberia.
" Kenpong thanked the management, coach, and technical staff as well as the playing body for the victory but urged them not to relent on their exploits.
The Black Meteors face Congo later this month and will face Nigeria next if they qualify.
The three top teams from the eight-nation tournament will qualify for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
