Asamoah Gyan put in a master class performance to score four goals to send Al Ain to the quarter finals of the President’s Cup on Thursday night.
The Black Stars captain rattled the back of the net four times as Miroslav Stoch got the other in a 5-0 rout of second tier club Dibba Al Fujairah.
Gyan who picked up his third Arabian Gulf League medal in four years over the weekend showed no signs of celebration hangover by opening the scoring after just 15 minutes.
He went on to score three more in succession in the 38th, 49th and 52nd minute to make the win certain.
Al Ain were however not yet done as Miroslav Stoch fired from a trademark distance to complete the annihilation.
The newly installed league champions will now face the winner of the game between Sharjah and Al Nasr in the quarter finals.
