It was the biggest day in Australian soccer on Sunday: the grand final of the A-League.
And after a pulsating match in which Melbourne thrashed Sydney 3-0 to take the crown, all that was left was for the great and the good of Aussie football to hand out the prizes.
That meant the big moment for Frank Lowy, chairman of the Australian FA, who was called upon to hand over the trophy.
To the shock and horror of the entire crowd, however, the 84-year-old billionaire came onto the temporary stage and missed his footing - tumbling upside down and onto the turf in a manner which we can only describe as "utterly startling".
Quite astonishingly, although the fourth richest man in Australia landed on his head, he picked himself up with a wry smile and carried on with the show. His spokesman later said that his shoulder is a bit sore, but that he's otherwise tip-top.
