Ghana's capital, Accra, was the scene of dramatic images as historic floods exacerbated by an explosion at a petrol station caused deaths and a heavy rain of tears.
There were no exceptions - men and women, young and old, rich and poor - were all victims of the floods and the fire. This was a particularly dramatic photograph captured by our cameraman, David Andoh.
It sums up the tragedy of Wednesday's events.
