Many companies and individuals continue to drop various kinds of relief items to support Joy FM,s appeal to solicit support for last week’s floods and fire victims.
Some of the companies included Jislah Financial Services, Vanguard Assurance, Group of Siblings and Friends.
Jislah Financial Services donated 3 bags of perfume rice and six cartons of voltic mineral water, Vanguard Assurance presented bags of rice, purified bottled water and clothes while the group also gave shoes, a box soap, and food item.
More than 150 people lost their lives in a twin floods and fire disaster that hit the capital on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 - a day christened Black Wednesday.
Joy FM is coordinating a massive relief effort to help the victims and survivors put their lives back in order.
Many of the survivors have lost everything in the floods and badly need help.
The station, with support from its listeners and partners, has distributed bales of clothes, truckloads of foods, water, soaps, detergents, bags of rice, medicines amongst others.
The rest are AV Hermon, 90 mattresses, Nielsen, assorted provisions, Sun lodge Hotel , cooked food, Allterrain Service Ghana, food and relief items, Gecad Health Care Ghc 1,500.00, ADK Consortium and Price Water House Coopers staff, mattresses, Amesro Ablaga Senofe, packs of sachet water.

Staff of auditing firm Price Water Housecoopers presented mattresses. Joy FM's Doreen Andoh was there to receive them.

Donations were loaded into a vehicle heading straight to Circle where survivors and the displaced will receive support.
