Tema Youth, the sensational Ghanaian Premiership club has signed a partnership agreement with Danish Club, Sonderjyske, Haderslev.
The deal, which was mooted by All Sports Management Consult of Manchester, is to afford both clubs the opportunity to derive meaningful benefits from each other.
Key in the agreement is the "development, training and promotion of Ghanaian Footballers for professional careers in Europe."
Consequently, young talented players from the Tema Youth set up will be sent to Denmark for trials lasting from 14 days to three months between July and September each year.
To facilitate the trials, Tema Youth will bear the cost of airlifting the players to Denmark while Sonderjyske will provide accommodation and other logistics for their stay.
The deal, which vests the power of administration of Tema Youth in the hands of the two entities, empowers the Ghanaian team to identify and recruit young talented players from other West African countries for grooming.
The management of Tema Youth will be relieved of its responsibility of kitting the team as the agreement cedes that role to the foreign partners, covering the team and its affiliate feeder institutions.
Selected Ghanaian coaches will also benefit from the collaboration, as they will be sponsored to undertake training programmes in Denmark, while in some circumstances, foreign technical instructors will be flown to Ghana to organise courses for the coaches.
Mr Jakob Gregersen, Sports Manager signed for the Danish club while Mr Patrick Aidoo of All Sports Management Consult signed for Tema Youth.
