Sekondi Metro Stars held Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs to a pulsating 1-1 draw in their Division One League match played at Robert Mensah stadium, Cape Coast at the week-end.
Dwarfs who played below form went down as early as the 16th minute when a feeble shot from Ebow Mends surprisingly beat goalkeeper Lovelace Neequaye in the Dwarfs post.
The home team came into the picture from the 20th minute and following series of attacks in their opponent's vital area; they managed to get the equalizer through midfielder, Douglas Mustopha in the 26th minute.
Outside right, Michael Nsaidoo, after collecting a pass raced with the ball before giving a diagonal pass to Mustopha to score the equalizer with a header.
The second half saw the two teams playing it hard in search of the leader but there were no further scores until full time.
Results of other League matches were as follows: Tarkwa Medeama spank Cape Coast Venomous Vipers 2-0 with Windy Professionals whipping Tarkwa United 2-0 and Feyenoord settling for a goalless drawn game with Gamba All Blacks.
