The Government has secured a loan of 30 million Euros from the French government for the construction of the Awoshie-Pokuase road and community development project.
The facility is expected to partly support the 100 million Euros project which is also expected to be co-financed by the African Development Bank.
The Minister of Finance Dr. Kwabena Duffour and the Deputy French Ambassador Bernard Botte initialled the agreement for the facility their respective countries.
The Deputy French Ambassador says the project should help improve the livelihood of persons living in the area.
The delivery of basic services such as water should also improve, Mr Botte said.
