Liberty Professionals on Sunday held league champions Accra Hearts of Oak to a barren drawn game in a special ceremonial game at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park.
The match was organised by the Professional League Board (PLB) to officially present the 2006/2007 Premier League trophy to Hearts for annexing the league.
The well-attended game, which began on a fast note saw both teams struggling to gain their feet in the opening minutes of the match.
But it was the Phobians, who fielded two guest players made up of former midfielder Lawrence Adjah Tetteh and former Asante Kotoko and Okwawu United striker Shamo Abbey who posed much danger of the homesters anytime they moved upfront.
Just on the stroke of the first half, young striker Edward Adjaglo nearly capped his home debut for Hearts with a goal but his volley went wide with Liberty's goalie Nana Bonsu completely beaten.
Both teams introduced fresh limbs in the second half but it was the league champions who came closest with efforts from substitute Eric Nyarko and Adjaglo missing targets by inches.
