There was a fire explosion at a gas station at Tema New Town Wednesday evening destroying several shops and property.The accident occurred on Wednesday evening around 8pm and as at 10:20pm the fire was still raging at the Agapet Redeemer Gas Point, Joy Online’s Dela Aglanu reports.It took five fire tenders from the Ghana Fire Service with support from the TOR Fire Brigade several hours to bring the fire under control.The inferno affected some nearby shops and a house, but there are no reports of any casualty yet. At the time of the incident workers at the station and offices close to it had closed.Meanwhile the extent of actual damage caused is yet to be ascertained.Story by Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
