The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong-Manso is asking Ghanaians to rely on God because no politician can change the destiny of Ghana.
According to him, politicians will always make empty promises but God's promises never fail.
He said this at a news conference in preparation towards the Rheinhard Bonnke’s Christ for All Nations Crusade slated for next month, 3rd to 6th of December, 2015 at Ashiaman.
According to him, “we must stand up and tell the world that NDC, NPP, CPP; no politician can change the destiny of our nation. They will make things worse.”
Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong–Manso blamed the increasing political tension in the country on greed, arrogance and pride.
He also charged pastors to stop rushing after titles, clerical robes and focus on feeding the sheep with the word of God.
He stated that “we are fighting and looking for titles, unnecessary degrees and we have left the job undone. Somebody sits in a church of 200 members; he has got no branch, yet calls himself a bishop. Another gets a small church and he calls it a cathedral.”
The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana says it is mind-boggling that “some pastors’ stand on the pulpit and instead of talking about eternal life messages that can bring hope and life, they go to give motivational messages”.
This year’s Gospel Crusade will feature the renowned American evangelist Reverend Daniel Kolenda, who has taken over from German international evangelist, Reverend Reinhard Bonnke, founder of Christ for All Nations (CfAN).
Executive Director of Christ for All Nations, Africa, Rev. John Darko entreated everybody to attend the crusade.
