William Asiedu Yeboah, Captain of the Tema Country Golf Club, returned a net score of 64, to win the club’s May Medal Open Championship played at Tema on Saturday.Yaw Donkor took the second position with 65 net, John Francois placed third with 67 net, while Nicolo Catto came fourth with 70 net.In the Ladies Division, ‘Lady Scientific’ Florence Etwi-Barimah came first with 72 net, Suzie Abaloo-Kumassah placed second with 76 net, while Esi Cobbina was third with 77 net, beating Esther Antwi on count-back.The day’s 18-Hole Medal Play event, opened to amateur golfers from the Greater Accra region, was sponsored by the club.Mr. Yeboah called on the members of the club to take active interest in the activities of the club.The next Ladies Championship of the club will be held on Tuesday, May 22.Source: GNA
