The family of the late Professor Albert Adu Boahen, an NPP stalwart, has secured a court order restraining his widow from going ahead with the launch of a foundation to honour his memory.
The order was secured on Monday by the head of Prof Adu Boahen's family and his children.
Prof. Adu Boahen died last year at the 37 Military Hospital after a prolonged illness.
The restraining order, family sources said, was obtained because the family was against the launch of the foundation by the widow.
The widow was reported to have already placed advertisements in the media announcing the launch of the foundation scheduled for Thursday May 24.
