Leonardo DiCaprio is slightly more excited about the release of his new film (Inception) than his recent visit to the World Cup.
The actor has German roots, and was snapped blowing on a vuvuzela and cheering on their national side over in South Africa.
But he has told Sky News he is not too sad that the Spanish knocked them out.
DiCaprio said: "The truth of the matter is I went to the World Cup for my godson to show him around. "But I've only been a football fan for two weeks now. The LA Lakers won the basketball, and that's the team that I really support back home!"
'Inception' has been universally praised by critics for its fiercely intelligent and multi-layered script.
It has been eagerly awaited by fans, who have been told very little about the plot, and so far have only been treated to largely cryptic teaser trailers. So what can viewers expect?
DiCaprio explained: "This film is about dream infiltration. "There's a lot of other stuff that goes on and when you actually watch this movie, believe it or not, it makes sense."
"That's a testament of how great Christopher Nolan is."
Nolan is of course the real British genius behind 'Inception'. The writer and director has had the idea ticking away in his head for almost a decade now.
In the meantime, he has reignited the Batman franchise and has been handed the keys to produce a new Superman film.
Actors love working with him, which may explain why Sir Michael Caine rejoined him for just a small cameo role in 'Inception'.
Caine told Sky News: "He's one of the greatest directors in the world.
"He's also one of the nicest people I ever met in the industry. I'm a big fan, I took a three-day part in a movie for him. I got a free trip to LA though, so it was alright."
And what does Nolan think of all this acclaim being thrown at a film he produced from scratch with his long-time producing partner and wife Emma Thomas?
Well as ever, the man from London is playing it nice and cool.
"We had fun with this one," Nolan smiled, "it came out very much the way we wanted it to."
He added: "It's always exciting, but it makes you a little nervous about what people are going to think when it goes out there. We are hoping not to disappoint."
