Business leaders and investment funds managers across the world will Monday begin brainstorming on ways to use tourism to attract the needed capital into the country.
The International Tourism Investment forum, will for the next two days also explore ways to channel the needed capital to the sector to aid its growth and quadruple its contribution to the economy.
The forum put together by the Tourism Ministry and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre is bringing together government leaders and businesses from Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Currently the fourth highest foreign exchange earner and third highest contributor to the economy, it is believed the sector could do a lot more for the economy with a little push.
