The Bureau of National Investigations has invited and questioned the owner of Mc Dan Shipping, Daniel Mc Caulley in connection with the training of the security detail of the New Patriotic Party flagbearer.

McCaulley was invited after 9:00 am this morning, questioned and released after midday, Joy News has learnt.

He was interrogated for his alleged role in the invitation of the three south Africans who were in Ghana to train the security detail of Nana Akufo-Addo.

Even though the state has dropped the case against the Ex-South African Police officers, Joy News sources at the BNI say the state is still interested in prosecuting any Ghanaian involved in the illegality.

The three South Africans were arrested by the BNI together with Captain Edmund Koda who heads the private security of the NPP flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo.

The BNI hauled the three to court but the court granted them bail to a sum of 20,000 cedis with two sureties.

However, the BNI refused to give temporary freedom to the South African suspects and kept them in custody for three more days until they were deported on Tuesday.

With the deportation of the main suspects, it was thought the case would have ended but the BNI sources think otherwise.

Sources also say the representative of the Danquah Institute will also be invited and questioned.
