Over 30 people at Dichemso in Kumasi have been rendered homeless after fire gutted their home, Thursday.
About 11 rooms at the first floor of the storey building was affected, with residents loosing properties, including personal effects worth thousands of cedis.
The fire is believed to have started in the room of a resident who had travelled abroad.

Some residents tell Nhyira News they will pass the night in the open after losing their apartments to the fire.
One of the victims, Kofi Agyekum says they have nowhere to go insisting he and his family will pass the night in the open.
According to him, the key to his taxi, the only source of the family’s income, has been burnt to ashes.
Other victims reveal their future hang in balance as monies being used in their small trading businesses have been lost to the fire.
Despite receiving reports, NADMO were yet to respond to the plight of victims.
