Police in Obuasi have launched investigations into a gun battle between its officers and some unidentified robbers leaving to the death of one of the robbers and the other in critical condition.
The gunmen attacked the ware house of the mining company AESL to steal explosives.
But the robbery was thwarted by the police who got to the scene quite early prompting a crossfire.
Obuasi municipal police, Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Amisah tells Joy News, four of the robbers managed to escape while the injured one is assisting with investigations.
