Black Satellites coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani is impressed with the progress his team are making as they prepare for an African Youth Championship qualifier later this year.
The national under 20 team defeated Premiership side Dreams FC by a lone goal in their recent friendly.
But Dramani was more impressed with his side’s output rather than the result.
“We have rehearsed something and we are practicing it so for now the results are not needed because it is a friendly match,” he told Asempa Sports
“How to play is our main aim especially how to organize ourselves at the back, how to play from the back, how to break the lines of the opponent has been what we have been doing and the players have learned it very well not because we won the game but the way we played made me happy.”
“Anytime we decide to keep the ball, we know what to do with the ball because we are comfortable with the ball, we can play with the goalkeeper and can play from danger zones as well but attacking is where we have problem to do in terms of finishing.”
“These players need to be groomed very well according to the plans we have put in place so they can replace the senior players playing for the Black Stars and I strongly believe we can achieve it.”
“We are doing all these things to build the team and get it to it best shape.”
Inter Allies striker Ropapa Mensah got the only goal of the game for the Satellites.
