He was later pronounced dead at the Mampong Government Hospital.
Two female staffs of the bank are currently on admission at the hospital after being traumatized by the presence of the robbers.
The robbers upon arrival at the bank’s premises first held the private security officer of the bank, one Dominic Sefa Boakye at gunpoint.

According to the security officer, the sporadic shooting by the robbers forced many residents to run for cover.

The body of the deceased who left behind a wife and four children has been deposited at the Mampong Government Hospital’s morgue awaiting autopsy.
Meanwhile, the Mampong Divisional Command has mounted a search for the robbers after they picked information they abandoned their motorbike in the area.
