New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has named Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten as the one to run the Trade and Industry Ministry if he is elected president.
Nana Akufo-Addo spoke of how he will use experienced people like Former Trade Minister under the Kufuor Administration, Mr. Kyeremanten to run the economy while addressing the chief and people of Akatsi North during his four-day campaign tour of the Volta Region region.
He said there are two things the Party is going to concentrate on when they win the elections. First is industrial development and the revival of our agricultural sector.
Mr. Kyeremanten who was also the Minister for Presidential Special Initiatives is on a campaign tour of the Region with the party’s presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, told the gathering only the NPP can bring the jobs people require.
Akufo-Addo said the Party boast of competent people who are going to stand and do the right job in running the country.
Alan Kyeremanten promised the people what he calls an unprecedented change in their lives if they help vote the Party to power this year.

The NPP is working hard to win the hearts of the people of the Volta Region, which is mostly referred to as the World Bank of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). During his tour of the Region, Nana Akufo-Addo has assured Voltarians his administration will serve their interest should they repose their trust in him and vote for him to be president.
He reminded the chiefs and people of the development the Kufour administration brought to the Region during his eight years rule and promised to continue.
Mr. Kyeremanten emphasised that if Voltarians and Ghanaians, in general, want to feel good about their life, able to pay for medical expenses, school fees and put food on the table of their family, the NPP will create the jobs they need to make these possible.
"We will make sure that we put the people of Ghana back to work, we will make sure that we put the policies and programs that will create jobs massively for the people of Ghana particularly in the rural areas," the former Minister said.
"We have done that before so if we tell you we will do it again, believe us. The kind of factories and industries that we were able to revive during our term in office, is the same thing we are going to do for Ghana," he added.
He made a special promise to the people of Akatsi North that their constituency will see development and jobs if the Party comes back to power.
