Former Ghana Football Association Boss, Lepowura Alhaji MND Jawula says the decision to call back Sulley Ali Muntari into the Black Stars should solely be the decision of the FA after he sent his apology to the Association yesterday.
Sulley Muntari has been on indefinite suspension following his misconduct during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The 31 year old was expelled from the Black Stars camp alongside Kevin Prince Boateng following violent conduct which led him to slap Moses Amrah, President of Tarkwa Based club Medeama SC.
After 2 years of the distasteful event in Brazil, the former Inter Milan midfielder has finally apologized to the Football Association and making himself available for selection in the Black Stars.
But the former FA boss says the decision to recall him back into the team should be the sole responsibility of the FA and the coach Avram Grant.
“I think it is good he has apologized finally to the FA but the question of whether he should be called back into the Black Stars should come from the Football Association and the Head Coach Avram Grant,” he told Asempa Sports
Ghana has booked its ticket for 2017 Africa Nations Cup to be hosted by Gabon after topping Group H with 13 points with one match to go.
