Eleven out of the 14 people who died in a motor accident at Gomoa Onyaadze, near Winneba on January 19, will be given a mass burial at Mumford on Friday, February 4.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Mumford, Mr Ebenezer Adoko, Headmaster of the Mumford Community Junior High School and an opinion leader of the town, said out of the number who died in the accident, two were identified as citizens of Gomoa Akyemfo.
Mr Adoko said the 11 would be laid in state at Mumford Lorry Park.
The victims died in an accident involving a bus and a cargo truck.
The dead were identified as Kwame Ewueye; Joshua Odoom; Kyeame Kobina Sakyi, Kyeame Kobina Kyea; Abusuapanyin Kojo Ninsin; Esi Ahwebi and Kwesi Ebum.
The others were Kobina Esseteh; Adjoa Kosohwe; Ekua Bueduwa; Rose Mensah and Abeka Ibrahim.
