No parliamentary aspirant has been disqualified in the Central and Volta Regions with 54 days to go for the 2016 elections.
The news will come as a welcome relief for the aspirants in those two regions after it emerged that some presidential and parliamentary candidates have been disqualified for various acts of fraud and negligence.
Joy News' Central Region correspondent Richard Kojo Nyarko reported that all the 100 parliamentary aspirants who picked forms to contest in 23 constituencies were all given a clean bill of health.
The breakdown of the parliamentary aspirants in the Central Region are as follows, NDC, 23, NPP, 23, PPP,18, CPP, 21, PNC, 3, NDP, 4, UPP, 1, and Independent, 7.
The Central Region Chairman of the Electoral Commission Mrs Philomina Edusei said she has forwarded the nomination forms to National Headquarters.
Whilst she passed all the aspirants, she was quick to add that in case of any disqualification, it will be in the hands of the National Headquarters.
Meanwhile in the Volta Region Regional EC Chair, Mahama Nuhu said all the aspirants have gone through the process smoothly.
"Volta Region is very prepared and ready for the presidential elections. Elections is not a one day activity. It's an event and we undertake one activity at a time. We have discharged all our obligations smoothly and honorably.
"We prepared for the elections and come7th December we will be able to deliver to the expectation of all Ghanaians," he said.
