Five ex-Multimedia Group sales persons who were involved in financial malfeasance have been convicted by an Accra Circuit court.
Solomon Lartey was charged with forgery of documents, alteration of forged documents, abetment of crime and stealing.
Justice Yaw Atta Sarpong fined him 80 penalty units or in default he would go to prison for three years. A penalty unit is GH¢12.
Others Fiifi Aggrey, Desdy Yaw Owusu, Samuel Boamah, and Ernest Kwakye Asare were all convicted of stealing and sentenced to 100 penalty units each or in default each person will go to prison for two years.
The over GH¢94,000 the sales staff owed Multimedia has been paid.
Two other persons involved are to return to court on November 9, 2016.
